Greetings from the Woodruff High School Athletic Department! We hope that you are having a great summer. We have just completed a very successful year in athletics at Woodruff High, including seven region championships. Three teams advanced to the AA Final Four. Our athletes accumulated 14 all-state selections, 56 all-region selections, and two were individual state wrestling champions.
Coach Lane and the football players have already been working hard in summer weightlifting and conditioning sessions to prepare for the upcoming season. Your continued support of our athletic department enables us to provide one of the most comprehensive and successful athletic programs of any AA school in the state. Woodruff High School finished fifth in the rankings of overall athletic programs by classification.
Again this year, we will be selling our commemorative Wolverine Football Programs at all five of our home games. We encourage your business to advertise in our program. All proceeds go toward supporting the athletic department and all student athletes at Woodruff High School.
We will be offering business card, one-fourth, one-half and full-page advertisements as listed on the enclosed order form. These programs are a great way for your business to reach hundreds of potential customers in our area for just pennies a copy. Any consideration you may give toward either renewing your ad or taking out a new one would be most appreciated. Advertising rates have been lowered for the 2009 program! Additionally, we will be offering advertisement on our WHS Wolves website. This site recorded over 10,000 visitors in 3 months. Ads will be $350, $150, and $50 based on size. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please call for further information so that we can personalize your web advertisement.
At this time you may also order reserved season tickets and reserved parking passes for all five regular season home games. These tickets are great for your personal, family or business use. We have a tremendous home schedule this year at W. L. Varner stadium where over 10,000 fans attended games last year. We host the season opener with Greer and also home games with Abbeville, Broome, Southside and Palmetto. The Palmetto game will be homecoming and televised as the Charter Media game of the week.
Thank you once again for your continued support of the Wolverines and School District Four Athletics. If you would like additional information or have any questions, please call (864) 476-3186. Our fax number is (864) 476-7224.
